Miller County CARES Act Funding Grant Program 2020
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security ACT (CARES Act) passed on March 27, 2020 and signed by President Trump established the Coronavirus Relief Fund and appropriated $150 billion to the Coronavirus Relief Fund. This fund is to be used to make payments for specified uses to states and certain local governments. Miller County received $3,005,620. to support the needs within Miller County. Miller County will use the guidelines provided by the U.S. Department of Treasury and the State of Missouri in making awards of the funds received under the CARES Act. Miller County has developed a grant proposal process that will help the county support the needs of those entities that have been impacted by unexpected expenses to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
